I had such a fun time with this sweet family and their gorgeous little girls! Whenever grandparents are involved, all the better! It was a perfect October morning with beautiful colors and beautiful smiles.

Sophie | Newborn
My previous post featured my friend Laurie, her husband Nick, their sweet little girl Leah, and a very cute bump. I’m always so thrilled when maternity sessions lead to newborn sessions! Laurie is a fellow photographer and friend, and we’ve both fallen in love with lifestyle newborn photography. Over the past few months I have been transitioning my newborn work from posed images to more natural, family relationships. I adore the interactions between parents and their little ones, and I’m so excited to be starting this new project since baby Rishty #2 is on the way next month! In fact, Laurie and I have been participating in an online community of lifestyle newborn photographers, and today we are both involved in a connecting our blogs to other newborn photographer’s work! The “O” Family | Families
This was my first time shooting at Ridley Creek State Park, and it was completely PACKED with other photographers that night! No surprise, either, considering how amazing the foliage was and how many fun locations there were to shoot. I had an amazing time with this family, and particularly their adorably cute twin two-year-old girls! We had lots of giggles and fun in the leaves. I’m so proud to have captured this family in their element!

Baby Logan | Newborn
Jess and Kevin have three absolutely GORGEOUS little girls, and now the big sisters have an adorable little brother to dote on. Logan was incredibly precious and I had so much fun holding him and helping him fall asleep for this shoot (eeek, his little newborn smell and newborn features were just too much!) I’m so thankful I had the opportunity to work with this amazing family!
Hannah & Rachael
I had the pleasure of photographing these two cuties when they were newborns for my very first twin newborn shoot! I can’t believe how big they’ve gotten or how cute and smiley they’ve become! We had a great time in the flowers, grass, and playing in the water fountain. These little sweeties are just too adorable for words!
The Big “C” Family
My husband has been friends with his former coworker, Keith, since he started an internship back in 2006. After working with him for many years they are both at new companies, but still keep in touch. After we had the “C” family over for dinner, I was so excited when Jess told me she wanted to do an extended family shoot with all of these lovelies. We had a perfect day at Longwood Gardens and had lots of fun with their two sweet girls and their adorable nephew, Caleb!

Baby Val
The day after photographing this sweet family in the fall, Taylor announced her 3rd pregnancy! I was thrilled when she requested a newborn shoot. And then little Val decided to show up a month early! At 4 lbs, 7 oz, she was the tiniest little person I’ve ever seen– and so sweet and cooperative too! Mommy Taylor had some really fun props we were able to incorporate, and we got the big kids involved too. Here are a few of my favorites from the day!
The “S” Family
I first met Jess when I did Sammie’s newborn pictures last year in February! I was so excited when she wanted to book a one year session this spring! We had a great time at Milky Way Farm and I’m really excited with how these photos turned out! We had a bright, sunny day, and lots of smiles from the littles.
The “M” Family

The “S” Family
This beautiful family braved the cold weather with a 1-month-old at Longwood Gardens this past week (we were so thankful for the warm Conservatory)! Little Annabelle was just absolutely precious, and big sister Cora was a big ol’ ham! Mama Jaclyn looked pretty fabulous, too- I could hardly believe she had just given birth! Daddy Joe was so awesome with the little ones and it was just a treat to see this loving family interact. I love the Christmasy atmosphere at Longwood!
