Sophie | Newborn

My previous post featured my friend Laurie, her husband Nick, their sweet little girl Leah, and a very cute bump.  I’m always so thrilled when maternity sessions lead to newborn sessions!  Laurie is a fellow photographer and friend, and we’ve both fallen in love with lifestyle newborn photography.  Over the past few months I have been transitioning my newborn work from posed images to more natural, family relationships.  I adore the interactions between parents and their little ones, and I’m so excited to be starting this new project since baby Rishty #2 is on the way next month!  In fact, Laurie and I have been participating in an online community of lifestyle newborn photographers, and today we are both involved in a connecting our blogs to other newborn photographer’s work!  If you’re interested in a taste of various lifestyle newborn styles, investigate this blog post:  http://www.sarahharriganphoto.com/?p=75

Laurie | Maternity

I’m so thrilled with how my first “lifestyle maternity” session turned out! Laurie is a fellow photographer and fellow pregnant mama with an older daughter, so we have lots in common and always tons to talk about whenever we see each other! She will be doing my maternity photos tomorrow. I love how this shoot offers a glimpse into their lives, their sweet family, and their beautiful home! Baby Grace | Newborn

We had an absolutely perfect winter morning with this beautiful lady! She was so cooperative, sleepy, and sweet! Her parents were a joy to talk to and I adored capturing the love they all had for each other. Congratulations, Brooke & Tom on your precious little daughter!
